Arrival to Hong Kong
After a 16 hour nonstop flight in the window seat, I was more than relieved to jump off the plane, get my luggage and start my semester. We were picked up by a bus that drove us through Nathan Road, a large street similar to Time Square of New York City. Everyone wow-ed and ooh-ed until we turned a corner and found ourselves dropped off at our lodge. In the middle of all these lights.
The photo illustrates our first dinner of the semester. Certainly not our best. We were so hungry that we just entered any restaurant with some English in the menu and was still open at 11 ish pm. I ordered the dish closest to the bottom - fried noodles with chicken gravy. It wasn’t amazing but it was decent for my starvation.
